Rockey is the owner of RockeyRoad Consulting – and focuses on serious and not-so-serious human behaviors. Her career has been a series of transformations as she has job crafted each of her progressive positions, reinventing herself and her skillsets while utilizing her strengths and her values. Leadership roles include: Change Enablement, Talent Stewardship, Learning and Development, Information Technology and Project Management.
Drawing on her background in theater, improvisation and learning, Rockey “dances in the moment” to lead leaders and teams to new insights and inspired action. Using tools and lessons from Applied Improvisation, Change, and Ecosystems Thinking, she prides her ability to work intensely with organizations and their employees’ personal and professional strengths to reach new levels of excellence in communication, creative thinking, empathy and collaboration.
Rockey is an Executive Coach, a Designing Your Life Coach, a Global Career Development Facilitator and a ProSCI Certified Change Practicioner. These skills have enabled her to work with numerous individuals in their succession plans, career development, and learning development plans – at all levels of an organization.
Rockey holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University in Wildlife Biology and Ecology, a Master’s Degree from Central Michigan University in Healthcare Administration, and a Doctorate in Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She continues to study the relationships between self and group efficacy within the personal and organizational context.
